M.A.C. Eyeshadow

M.A.C. cosmetics is definitely makeup for the professionals. It is quite possibly one of the best cosmetic brands on the market. Although it is the number one choice for many professionals, it is also available for the average working woman who wants to add some glam to her look. M.A.C. offers a variety of products including foundations and powders, mascara and eyeliner, lip gloss and lipstick, eyeshadows and eye paints. The best thing about M.A.C. cosmetics is that it was made for all women and compliments all skin pigments from the fairest to the darkest.

The M.A.C. eyeshadow is quite possibly one of the best and most versatile products available to consumers. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented powders that come in over 150 colours and 8 different finishes.

The Frost finish has an iridescent shine that adds a highlight to any color. Almost 40 colours are offered in a frost finish.

30 colours are available with a Lustre finish. These colours are smoothly pearlized and intensely frosted with an ultra-fine "conditioned" finish.

For a high-colour finish with no shine, choose one of the 29 colours with a Matte finish.

There are 31 Colours with a Matte2 finish. They give an intense, opaque matte finish with exceptionally rich colour.

29 pure colours are available in the satin-style finish. These eyeshadows with the Satin finish provide a soft, subtle non frost, light-refractive sheen.

M.A.C. offers 3 eyeshadow colours that are superfine pigment rich and very luxe. The Veluxe finish provides a silky smooth matte finish.

Veluxe Peal finishes are vibrantly toned. These 23 colours are velvety soft, shimmery metallic, and are finished with a high-shine pearl.

The 14 Velvet finish colours offer a soft look finish with high-colour intensity. These colours have a plush velvety look and feel.

The good: M.A.C. eyeshadows come in a variety of colors, shades, tones and pigments to accentuate not only your eyes but your every outfit. So there's something for everyone!

The bad: M.A.C. cosmetics are a bit more pricier than drugstore brands. The eyeshadows run from $14-$15 (depending on product location) for individual colors.

The bottom line: Although these eyeshadows are a bit more expensive than drugstore brands, they are worth every penny! The colors are very rich and blend together easily.
